Since 1998 Dr. Veena Puri have been receiving the Best Physician’s Award, which is voted by their peers and medical patients. This is a testimony to the excellence of care provided to everyone at Puri Pediatric Medical Group. Dr. Puri is a proud mother of two successful college graduates. Their daughter graduated from the University of Chicago, and is currently working as a pediatrician in Los Angeles, California. She recently finished her residency from Children’s Hospital in Orange County, California. Their son is pursuing a career in International Affairs. Flu Vaccine Recommendations Updated by CDC Vaccination We have the flu vaccine available for the 2018/2019 flu season. AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) strongly recommend the flu vaccine for all patients 6 months and above. Since the flu season has already started, you are advised to get the vaccine as soon as possible. Please call our office to schedule an appointment. The meningococcal B vaccine is available and recommended for ages 18 to 24. This is a two-dose vaccine that is given 6 months apart. If you are traveling outside the country during the Holidays or any other time, please make a travel appointment for your child before you leave.
